Saw Operator / Jr. Machinist (Posted 3/21/19)

Required Skills:

  • Able to read tape measure (inch system – metric is a bonus)
  • Familiar with reading blueprints
  • Able to drive a Hi-Lo
  • Able to operate an Over Head Crane
  • Able to lift 50 – 75lbs
  • Has a valid Driver’s License

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience operating band saw
  • Able to set up Bridgeport type milling machines

This entry level position will include organizing and cleaning the shop, cleaning equipment, as well as various tasks to assist the machine shop, assembly and shipping departments.  This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door and be exposed to everything that we do. 

Required Skills:

  • Has a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

  • Has mechanical aptitude
  • Has basic carpentry skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
  • Ability to assemble complex mechanical assemblies without guidance
  • Understanding of how to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems
  • Some experience with pneumatics and electrical systems
  • Works and communicates well with others
  • Willingness to travel when required (limited)
  • Can provide his/her own tools
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Wage commensurate with experience. Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance available on the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Paid Holidays and Vacation accrual after 90 days. 401(k) elgibility after 1 year of employment.
