These machines have large capacities for dispensing small parts inside a robot cell uninterrupted. Typically this will sit on the fence line so an operator can fill removable magazines with parts. The Dial will rotate into the robot cell as magazines become empty.
The filters in this design are too fragile to be pushed through a magazine. Instead these magazines have many shelves that are loaded with the filters. Once the magazine is indexed into the robot cell. The robot will pick the filters off of the shelf and place them on a hand-off fixture attached to the machine. From there the robot will re-grip the filter for installation.
